Villandry gardens, they are the most prestigious gardens of the Loire Valley
The Renaissance gardens on the terrace match wonderfully with the beauty of the tuffeau facades of the castle.
Villandry displays an innovative spirit with Gothic and Italian gardens that go beyond the decorative exhibition of plant species.
This paradise is an unmissable stop.

Rivau’s gardens with its huge stables, built by the great squire Francois de Beauvau, served as royal stable for Francis I.
Its magnificent park of 6 hectares contributes to the making of its fame.

International Garden festival in Chaumont sur Loire.
It has a unique panorama of landscape design all over the world since 1992. Chaumont-sur-Loire is the very embodiment of a mix between Gothic and Renaissance architectures. Catherine de Médicis, Henri II’s widow, requested  Chenonceau from Diane de Poitiers in exchange of the Castle in Chaumont-sur-Loire.

Gaillard, the forgotten paradise of the Renaissance in Loire Valley.
On his return from Italy in 1496, the young King Charles VIII, in love with the Italian cities and palaces, decided to recreate in Amboise the italian style.
To realize this dream, he convinced 22 Italian artists to come with him, including Dom Pacello de Mercoliano, a Neapolitan gardener monk.
He established the first gardens of the French Renaissance at Gaillard Castle and acclimated the first orange trees in France.
After 5 years of Pharaonic restoration carried out by 50 artisans of the Loire Valley, the castle is now open to the public.

The Gardens of Valmer flourish on an exceptional set of Italian style terraces.
The elegance of the Renaissance architecture matches perfectly with the beauty of the surrounding landscapes.
It is necessary to get lost in the park of 80 hectares, between the oaks and the wild cherry trees, before discovering the magnificent vegetable garden where there are more than 1000 varieties of plants!
The gardens of the chateau de Valmer combine grandiosity and intimacy. Balustrades, statues, columns, staircases and water jets follow one another creating spaces with varied atmospheres.
